The new PAT angle sensor type WGC combines a nice price with high performance techniques and robust design, in other words SIMPLE, COMPACT and PRECISE.
The basis of the new development is a capacitive meter cell consisting to two plates positioned parallel to one another and a fluid which is introduced into the space between the two plates. This fluid-driven measuring principle replaces the conventional pendulum drive and all its disadvantages. Together with the fluid, the two plates form a compact sensor element which makes up the heart of the 180° absolute value sensor. The rotary effect has been definitely improved by the new measuring principle. Temperature dependency has been neutralised, so that the sensor can be used over a wide temperature range (-40 to +85°C). In addition to a current interface, the new angle sensor can also be supplied with a CAN interface. The new technique is naturally also used for the PAT length and angle sensor program. The new inclination and angle sensor is a solution with many applications in the construction machinery industry.
